The Bad

The game is good, the food/sanity balancing is eh but you can still get a sweet spot pretty easily. But there's another problem that comes with that, just surviving alone basically takes up 80% of your time. Meaning? It is extremely hard/rng based to level up a skill and/or class to level 5. Which means you miss out on a lot of extra content, mainly because of the ingame day-timer. Since it's still WIP, I believe there should be an option in the settings to remove it now or in the actual release of the game as 80 days are simply too short to meaningfully grind your character in the ways you wish while struggling to survive at the same time. leveling up speed to 100 (reliable, useful rank) alone takes nearly 20-25 days depending on how you play, even harder since there is a "passion" mechanic (unofficial name given by me) that lowers your gains of any specific skill by a procedural margin depending on how many times you repeat it. It's not bad, don't get me wrong, but it just makes it so you have to essentially pre-game plan your runs while save scumming, leading to a not-so-enjoyable story and repetitive gameplay in my opinion.

The Good.

The game has so far amazing art and a nice, linear story telling in my opinion. Sure, some things are void, but that is expected of a WIP. The new animations add life to the character, and the daily random events also increase immersion and make replaying the game more fun. The game puts you in the shoes of a barely-surviving desperate character really well, and makes time pass by as a breeze when playing the game.

The Whatever i guess

Overall, the game is great. It's like a 5 star course meal waiting to be devoured.. Only you cannot because as I've stated, you don't nearly have enough time unless you specialize for certain things in many playthroughs. The balance needs some polishing, day timer needs to go up (if not dissapear right away this instant) and.. That's about all I got. Thanks for listening to my little rant and I hope this game doesn't become a victim of malicious payment processors. Godspeed dev

thewir is no pc download

Wtf is the balance in this shit? Pigeons remove insanity and Squirrels give it? The insanity system is horrible!

Now, let's wait for an option to remove the time limit.
If there's that option it should be included while going for a new game.

I wanted more from this game. I understand that its still growing and getting better, but it's hard for me to wrap my head around creating a grind game AND setting a time limit. Either make it a short preview for a full game release or don't put a time limit in the already story limited gameplay. Not many people want to start over completely just to see every aspect of an incomplete game. AAA gets away with this because every path is fleshed out (enough), but this one is a lot of mundane routine with no real reward. You're basically stuck chasing 1 or 2 objectives before you're kicked out of the game basically right after you develop a routine that works for you.

I can accept grinding games that keep the player engaged. That's the point. We get why it's a thing. A good game competes for your attention but if it only wastes hours of your life then and doesn't give the player some sense of flexibility then it misses the mark. It's not quite open choice and not quite a novel game. It's somewhere in between and that's not rewarding.

This is more of a critique than a complaint. I hope to come back to this game when I have either more freedom to build my character stats (time), more story, or at least unlimited time behind a reasonable pay wall. I DO believe people would part with a few bucks to actually sit down and create the character they want as they wait for updates. Please don't abandon the game, but right now you're abusing the player's time.

Take some tips from games like Summer Time Saga, FutaDomWorld, What a Legend, or Tales of Androgyny.

They're all constantly under development, they have completion paths, people are willing to pay to play the newest updates and releases even art, but most of all they don't force you to stop playing the character you spend time creating.

Chinese?

will it someday be available for macbook?

what'S neotare again exactly and how does it play into the story? I'm starting to like the artstyle and i somewhat remember what that is about, but also that there are two or three versions to describe the whole NTR thing.
